Thousands of residents in Flint, Michigan have been exposed to lead in their water for almost two years. Lead poisoning can cause major health problems, and no one knows the full implications of this disaster.
Lott Carey is working with local partners to reach people who live with more vulnerability during this crisis. There is a critical need to get water to people who cannot travel to distribution locations. This includes elderly residents and impoverished families (some of whom also have need for food, clothing, and heat) without adequate transportation. Our church partners need additional financial support to provide for people at the margins. Together, we can amplify our impact and help them to execute effectively.
We have irrigated farms in India and provided wells in Guyana, Liberia, and Zimbabwe. Flint needs us now.
Give so that we can help our partners get the water they need and get it where it needs to be.
