A private residence in Inglewood California last evening provided the perfect backdrop for the birthday celebration of Marvin Nelson. Nelson, a respected and celebrated resident of the City of Champions continues to serve as a personal counselor and trusted confidant to many. As the music played and champagne flowed, toast and personal statements of admiration were lifted throughout the evening. The statements below only represent a few of the toast that were expressed.
