With the midterm elections less than one month away and the recent 9.6 % unemployment rate across the nation, ReelUrbanNews.com spoke with Congressman James E. Clyburn, Majority Whip, in the United States House of Representatives. “The best part of that number is that we are growing jobs in the private sector. Sometimes I wonder if there is something going on here to postpone any real activity until after the election.” James E. Clyburn, Majority Whip , United States House of Representatives

“Blessed Experiences” is the working title of Congressman Clyburn’s forthcoming memoir that will chronicle his unique first hand account of his time shared in the U.S. House of Representatives. “I’ve been very blessed. No matter who we may think we are or what we may think we are, we can be no more or no less than what our experiences allow us to be. To serve in the congress at this particular junction, and to be in the middle of the big changes that are taking place with things like health care, with financial services, and education, I think it is a real blessing.” James E. Clyburn, Majority Whip , United States House of Representatives.
