“The most powerful thing about her persona is the unabashed pleasure she takes in her own body: its beauty, its power, its versatility,” magazine writes

Beyonce is stopping the presses on the cover of the coveted September issue of Vogue magazine.

The “Flawless” singer was captured during a steamy photo shoot for the fashion bible and graces the cover with a caption that reads: “Just B: Beyoncé and the Art of Global Domination.”

The stunning image, which was released online ahead of the issue hitting newsstands, shows Bey with wet hair tumbling down her shoulders, wearing a lavender embroidered dress and a beaded purple jacket draped over her shoulder.

“The most powerful thing about her persona is the unabashed pleasure she takes in her own body: its beauty, its power, its versatility,” the online story writes about the “Flawless” singer.

The September issue of Vogue is historically the biggest of the year, with past cover stars including Cindy Crawford, Naomi Campbell, Gwyneth Paltrow and Jennifer Lawrence.

Beyonce has graced the cover of the magazine twice in the past  — for the March 2013 issue, shot by Patrick Demarchelier, and the April 2009 issue, photographed by Mario Testino.

She recently landed on the Forbes’ 2015 list of The World’s Most Powerful Women at #21, ahead of Conde Nast artistic director Anna Wintour, who ranked highest in the media sector at No. 28.

Next up, the music icon will headline the Made in America Festival Sept. 5-6 at the Benjamin Franklin Parkway in Philadelphia.
