The ReelUrbanNews.com inaugural Civil Rights Live Legal Panel II is being convened to serve as a positive platform for meaningful dialog between community members and law enforcement personnel. The panel will allow us to address the continued challenges that exist between members of the African American and Latino communities in relationship to law enforcement in urban centers throughout the City of Los Angeles and the nation.

The ReelUrbanNews.com inaugural Civil Rights Live Legal Panel II featured some of the most distinguished  and celebrated legal names in Civil Rights, Defense and Prosecutorial law. In addition to the top legal minds, we are pleased that the Los Angeles Police Department, South Bureau Commander along with captains from the Newton and Southeast Divisions shared their law enforcement insight.

Representing the greater Los Angeles community are Dr. Kyle B. Jackson, Commander, Los Angeles Police Department (Ret.) and Benjamin Torres, President and CEO, Community Development Technologies Center, Los Angeles.
