A family reunion is an occasion when many members of an extended family congregate. Sometimes reunions are held regularly, for example on the same date of every year. A typical family reunion will assemble grandparents, great-grandparents and up for a meal, some recreation and discussion.

On the second day of the Freeman~Moore Family Reunion convening in Cushing Oklahoma over Labor Day Weekend 2016, a historical document chronicling the lifeline of this family was provided to reunion attendees.

Descendants of Freeman~Moore matriarch, Mrs. Odette Moore Scobey assisted in the research and publishing of this document that gathered available information from popular online sites, Ancestry.com and FamilySerch.com.  Additional family facts came through the Oklahoma History Center Museum, the Freeman Family Bible and from the memories of living and late family members.
