Several members of the Congressional Black Caucus a long with their South California host, Representative, Maxine Walters looked on as singer and action movie star, Tyrese Gibson performed a soulful rendition of the National Anthem prior to the start of a Congressional Black Caucus Town Hall Meeting recently held in Los Angeles California.
Before singing, Tyrese, a Watts native shared the following statement with the crowed. “A lot of us don’t have money to be giving $100,000 to an organization that they believe in, but you all have information,” Outside of money, I want to encourage everyone in this room to start having more conversations with the lost generation so we can help save our kids.”
