Rust College, founded in 1866 recently celebrated her 150th Founders Convocation. Alumni, faculty, family and friends from around the globe returned to the historic campus nestled in the heart of Holly Springs, Mississippi.
In a communication acknowledging the contribution of Rust College, President Barack Obama wrote, “America’s schools serves as gateways to opportunity and engines for Nation’s progress. Inspiring students to be the best version of themselves and equipping them with the tools to thrive, our halls of learning can instill in our nest generation the fundamental belief that with hard work nothing is beyond reach.”
