The critically acclaimed international organist and educator has toured the globe, performing in New Zealand, Australia, Germany, West Indies and throughout both North and South America. Prior to becoming the Organist at the Holman United Methodist Church, Dr. Calhoun served as Director of Music Ministries at the historic Second Baptist Church, Los Angeles. Dr. Calhoun joined the Department of Music at the University of La Verne, where he serves at the conductor of the University Chorale, Chamber Singers and La Verne Gospel Choir. Dr. Calhoun received his Doctor of Music Arts Degree with a major in Organ Performance and a minor in Church and Sacred Music from the University of Southern California.
