ReelUrbanNews.com recently caught up with Justin Brimmer, candidate for the Los Angeles City Council after a full day of campaigning. “We went to a Labor Day breakfast at a Methodist church in San Pedro and then we attended a Labor Day Parade in Wilmington. We then topped the day off with going door to door in the northern part of our district, in Watts and Harbor Gateway North. This election is critical. You’re going to need a leader like myself who has a vision big enough to encompass everyone. From San Pedro, Wilmington, Harbor City, Harbor Gateway to Watts. We’re dealing with things that are unimaginable when compared to other districts. Justin Brimmer, 2012 Candidate, Los Angeles City Council

The 15Th district in Los Angeles is comprised of African Americans and Hispanic constituents. Brimmer is well aware of the challenges that are ahead. “Seventy percent of our district is Brown or Black, African American or Latino. We have one of the most diverse districts in terms of youth and in terms of generation, but also in terms of ethnicity.  I think it behooves us to be on the forefront of unity. Justin Brimmer, 2012 Candidate, Los Angeles City Council
