“I’m very excited. This is something special. We’re doing a faith based movie called Grandma’s House. I’m producing and directing. It’s based on a real story.”

Faith based films have recently been the recipient of movie and box office success. Paul D. Hannah, award winning writer and director speaks exclusively with ReelUrbanNews.com, about “Grandma’s House,” the new faith based film he’s directing. “I think my films are a little bit more gritty. You can have a faith based movie and still have real life elements in it. Pictures and films should be a reflection of what we see in our real world. In “Grandma’s House” you have, financial struggles, you have relationship struggles and health problems. You have people trying to hold on to their faith in the darkest times. I think that’s real life.”

While on the set of “Grandma’s House,” Hannah, reflects on his continued influence and imprint as a filmmaker. “It’s been outstanding, it’s all and everything in between. We’ve had some great success. They’re people doing the same thing, one film every five years. We’ve done 20 films in almost that same time span.”
