When all else fails, technology prevails! Or at least that is definitely the case when it comes to the current situation; COVID-19 global outbreak. And while “out with the old and in with the new” has always been a reality hovering over businesses and service orientated enterprises in the 21st Century no organization will feel the failure to shift like the church will if it fails to make the shift and make it swiftly. Here’s the reason why.

While garnering new clients and recouping lost finances is the focus of most companies at this time (and understandably so), the church has an incredibly huge opportunity to recoup the lost and “garner” new souls for Christ, and the most effective way to achieve that (and in greater numbers than ever before) is by adapting from “church as usual” to “church gone virtual”.

With every new era, the church is challenged to come up with unconventional ways to relate to and reach out to non-believers, yet we see era after era, year after year, ministries that were once at the forefront suddenly moved to the back, simply because they could not make the cut when it came to becoming more cutting edge.

COVID-19 has many people paralyzed with fear but we believe the church has the antidote, the good news of Jesus Christ. But what good is it to have the answer to help solve a problem if your method of communicating is obsolete? Now is the time for the church to rise up, wise up and get their technical skills up! The church must realize we’re not waiting for a pick up game of basketball. We don’t have next…We Got NOW!
