Fifteen years after the passing of Tupac Shakur, ReelUrbanNews.com sat down with the artist known as Riskie for a confidential conversation about his relationship with Tupac and some of his iconic album covers designed for the late rapper. “My relationship with Tupac was cool. Suge Knight introduced us and Pac took a look at my portfolio and the next thing I know, I was working on the insert for All Eyes On Me album cover. As time progressed, I got to do the cover for Makaveli, and before his passing Tupac was going to help me do my own art show.” Riskie

“I spent a lot time talking with every Death Row artist about their album cover art work. When I originally got the idea for the Makaveli cover, I got a call from Suge that was supposed to be from Pac to work on the cover. Later that I night I had a meeting where I showed Tupac  a mockup and from there I dealt with Tupac personally until I turned it in to him the day before he was shot in Vegas. “ Riskie
