As an educator, I’m of course around kids a lot, so when I travel I go through withdrawals. However, this summer as we walked around Stonetown, Zanzibar, at some point I heard an abundance of kids. I looked around found a school, explained that I was an educator from The US and the principal let us come in. The kids were so excited and welcomed us with open arms.

Words won’t do the experience any justice, but I am beyond grateful to God for allowing me to experience this.
